I am sorry it has taken so long to finish the sub, but as you can imagine a marina can be a very busy place this time of the year. I had to overhaul the support boat before her condition deteriorated any further. The boat is very important to any future plans involving the sub.

During the testing process I caused some minor damage to the port ballast tank that I have since repaired. I am in the process of installing single point lifting eyes through the main hull. The lifting straps were putting too much of a load on the side tanks. It was very hard to control the sub during the testing because of this.

The sub has been underwater at the dock, with only one small leak in a pipe coupler that was not tightened properly, also I have tested the ballast system and everything worked perfectly. It looks like I may have to add some more ballast to the keel if I find her stability is a problem with one side tank empty, and one full.  I can't be sure of this without having the proper lifting eyes for safety reasons. I will keep you updated as soon as possible. There should be a new update within the month. You can take a look at the support vessel pictures in the last update.
