The last two major pieces of the puzzle are now in place. I have connected the saddle tanks to the pressure hull and finished welding the same.

The next step is to finish the deck and side fairing and install the fiberglass ends on the saddle tanks. I still have some plumbing from the end ballast tanks to run through the hull and also need to finish the compressed air system inside. It looks like the finished painting is a month or two away, but I never know what can happen to slow me down.

I have purchased a surplus trailer, that was used by the navy seals, to haul the sub. The trailer will need a retrofit in order to accommodate it.

If anyone has any information on a small gyro compass that would work, please let me know at billsr@giffordmarineinc.com

Down scope,

 Bill.
