January update,

Since I last wrote, I have framed the stern and added all the running gear. This includes two rudders four trim planes two forward and two aft. The port shaft log and port motor mount where realigned. Hyd. rams have been installed on both rudders and all trim planes. Of course, all this work had to be custom fabricated. Both forward and aft rams must travel the same distance and work opposite each other, I found myself making many changes along the way. I am now getting ready to install the shafts and wheels and realign the motors to receive same. The alignment is important so that the bearings and ceramic seals don't wear uneven. I have decided to go with spring loaded ceramic seals rather than stuffing boxes. I believe this will reduce leakage. At this time I don't have a lot of new pictures but as things change I will update you. Thanks for visiting the site, if there anything we can do for you, please feel free to call on us.

Thanks Bill and Crew
