Early October is when I kick off the Fall Striper season. The temperatures drop, boat traffic is gone and there's plenty of bait in the water. After netting some live bunker in Absecon Creek, I headed out to fish some of my favorite sod banks. Late afternoon, top of the tide and very little wind made for ideal conditions. I free lined the bunker close to the sod banks using a six foot leader and float. An hour later I landed this 32 incher who joined me for dinner!
