It's June!
Well we've made it past Memorial Day Weekend and it's beginning to look a whole lot more summer like. But then again this is South Jersey and the weather can be a bit tempermental as the anglers who participated in the GABT can attest. Basically they reported getting a certain portion of their anatomy with several boats turning back in because of conditions.
Here at Gifford marine it was busy with folks still getting ready for the season but we did have a few more entries for The Press contest.
Mike McElroy, of the "Muldoon",
was
back this week with a 6 lb 9 oz weakie.
This one had a length of 28 inches and a girth of 14" and was taken
out of Lake's Bay. on 5/28.
Mike
DeFeo coaxed this 8 lb 1oz flounder out of nearby Whirley Pool Channel on
6/1. This fish was 27 inches overall with a girth of 22.5"
Also, it appears that according to Friend Shep our own Don Brown did quite well while fishing on his day of aboard "The Keeper". Well leave it up to you to get the whole story out of Don.
